We are seeking to add a CNC Programmer to our team in Vancouver, WA on 1st shift! Hours will be Monday-Friday from 7A-3:30PM.

Administer the activities of the production organization to meet manufacturing targets and objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Participate as a member of the HGC supervisory team that provides leadership, direction to develop and implement plans to meet group targets and objectives.

In this role you will:

  • Conduct CNC maintenance and upkeep
  • Manage spare part inventory for CNC cutting tools and fixtures
  • Design and build new CNC fixtures
  • Create and edit new and existing CNC programs
  • Maintain plastic molds and CNC fixtures
  • Assist in the development and design of new molds and fixtures
  • Able to create 3D models using solid works
  • Train employees as needed  
  • Help with quality assurance of final product
  • Assist with process improvement of all fixtures, molds and CNC programs
  • Work with tooling suppliers
  • Work with machine suppliers
  • Stay current on new cutting tool technology to reduce cost or increase productivity

The perfect person will have:

  • 2 years progressively responsible experience in CNC programing and operation
  • Associates degree or completion of trade/vocational school program, Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting, preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety protocol
  • Knowledge of quality control criteria
  • Knowledge of tools and tool making
  • Skill in machine maintenance, calibration, and repair
  • Skill in machine operation
  • Skill in pattern making
  • Skill in CAD 3D drafting (Solid Works)
  • Skilled at using ASPREE
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to proactively diagnose machine malfunctions
  • Ability to prepare and present machine operation training
