We are looking for a Human Resources Manager who will join our HR Operations Team supporting our Corporate functions: Finance, Legal, Corporate Affairs and Strategy. This role will work in a hybrid environment splitting time at our World Headquarters based in Marysville, Ohio and working remotely.  

In this role you will partner daily with C-Suite executives, senior leaders and functional professionals. If you are innovative and able to drive change, engage, and influence the business to implement new ideas/programs, this is the opportunity for you!

Everyday you will:

  • Be the face of HR to your business groups providing the highest level of business partnership and company stewardship

  • Focus on how we can win the day and win tomorrow through continuous improvement

  • Engage leaders at all levels through projects and day to day support.

  • A self starter who operates well independently and in a team environment.  

  • A strategic and tactical contributor by delivering comprehensive, practical human resource solutions to people leaders and associates

  • A talent scout- identifying opportunities to upgrade our talent, both internally and externally; communicating and training leaders on appropriate talent development techniques and forums.

  • An ambassador of our culture- inspiring all to bring their best daily and living/leading our values.

  • An experienced HR professional- ideally with 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist type role and a Bachelor’s degree. Certifications are a plus as they are achieved based on training and experience.

  • Curious- demonstrating an innate desire to learn how things work and how things can be improved.

  • Energized by high change environments and is comfortable with ambiguity.

  • A problem solver- using creative avenues to solve problems, demonstrating both breadth and depth; demonstrating strong judgment and proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills to drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative.

Experienced with:

  • Supporting multiple business functions and knowing that not every work environment or culture is the same.  

  • A matrixed HR support model (centers of excellence - compensation, payroll, talent management, talent acquisition, etc.) Have worked closely with the HR leadership and corporate HR on the business’ needs and support them by driving the implementation of compensation programs, benefits, talent management/acquisition and other needed programs.

  • Extensive Employee Relations experience/expertise (i.e. leading investigations from investigation to conclusion, coaching leaders at all levels with regards to feedback/development, managing EEOC claims, leading conflict resolution)

  • Talent management / talent planning  - upgrading talent through workforce planning and working with newer managers 

  • Have supported executives, managers and associates etc.
