We are looking for an EDI/B2B Integration, Senior Analyst who will join our Business Transformation team in Marysville, Ohio.

The EDI/B2B Integration, Sr. Analyst will develop, coordinate, implement, and manage all EDI-related developments for the organization.  In this key organizational position, the individual is responsible for analyzing and designing specifications used for enhancements and extensions in B2B applications, interfaces, and mappings. They coordinate all EDI testing, implementations, and upgrades. Additionally, the B2B specialist serves as the primary link between the business and any data-trading partners; they work with all trading partners to determine the type of data they would like to trade and develop guidelines and specifications for data exchange.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Be an active member of different IT projects, small to large scale, sometimes taking on project lead roles when needed.

  • Conduct comprehensive gap analysis and/or business blueprint based on business and user requirements.

  • Develop the B2B system application based on the technical and business requirements such as - creating/changing B2B maps, developing business processes, establishing technical communication channels with partners, establishing web service/API calls between systems and partners.

  • Thorough testing of the solution and support of user acceptance testing to ensure systems design.

  • Rollout and go-live support of various technical and business projects pertaining to B2B integration.

  • Work with other systems application modules and technical teams to ensure viable system solutions; analyze and suggest system improvements.

  • Document of key business processes and mapping specifications.

  • End user support and troubleshooting of daily break-fix issues in a timely manner.  This includes systems monitoring and timely response to helpdesk tickets, email and telephone inquiries.

  • Other duties include various administrative tasks.  Examples include: status reporting, department and tower meetings, developing a performance plans and individual goal setting.

  • Contribute to the overall long term vision and strategy of the B2B team.

  • Document the current and future state models and technical details (architecture, mapping, custom processes).

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • 5+ years hands-on retail industry experience using IBM Sterling Business Integrator (v. 5.2 minimum) performing various technical tasks such as mapping, business process analyzing/writing, and establishing technical communication with trading partners.

  • Required hands on communication protocol experience on AS2 and SFTP.  Web services and API is preferred.

  • Strong technical skills in EDI X12 standards, xml, csv, flat file, and SAP idoc.

  • Hands on experience using Oracle database.

  • Fundamental Understanding of SAP ECC functional areas (SD, LE, MM, FICO etc.).

  • General programming skills are necessary for business process and mapping.

  • General knowledge in AWS architecture and performing SQL queries against the database.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into EDI technical solutions.

  • Conduct full end-to-end tests based on developed EDI technical solutions.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must – there is daily interaction with B2B team members, application team members, outside partners, and business users in troubleshooting translation errors and solving complex integration issues and requests.

  • Strong understanding of the EDI technical landscape.

  • Experience with addressing help desk issues in areas of expertise and assisting with user problems in associated areas.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems.  In lieu of technical degree, we will consider individuals with other educational degrees but must have relevant B2B experience.
