We are looking for night shift Plastics Operator at our Vancouver, WA facility.

Work only 4 days per week - 10 hour shifts

Hours will be 6PM-6AM

Starting pay is $20.65 per hour plus shift differential of $1.50/hr

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Perform  proper installation and removal of tooling

  • Own machine safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

  • Properly set-up and program all thermos-formers within allotted time

  • Perform complete tool change-overs

  • Monitor condition of equipment and tooling and notify tooling specialist for improvement needs

  • Record material usage

  • Problem solve formed product defects

  • Measure formed product specifications

  • Maintain proper housekeeping in the work area

  • Complete other related duties as required


What you’ll need to be successful:

  • High School Diploma

  • Be mechanically inclined

  • Have a minimum of 1 year plastic industry experience or machine operation experience

  • Ability to read tape measure in fractions

  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to read and understand English

  • “Want to learn” attitude

  • Safety protocol and quality control  knowledge

  • Self-motivated, organized and possess strong communication skills

  • Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail with demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize a rapidly changing set of objective
