Job Overview: 

In this position, you will help identify and research emerging technologies in the Information Technology (IT) industry that will enable Scotts Miracle-Gro to address current and future IT opportunities. You will be performing analysis and developing recommendations for technology use and performing proof-of-concept exercises for selected technologies. You will be documenting results and these are used by solution architects and others in making future technology decisions. You will be a member of a highly-collaborative and fast-paced team that is intensely focused on using IT to enable the Scotts Miracle-Gro business to grow and deliver ever-improving products and services to our customers. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide Salesforce support for Sales and Service Cloud users users

  • Determine best solution for addressing support or system enhancement requests

  • Design, integrate, and maintain Salesforce with other enterprise applications

  • Collaborate with business units to identify application requirements and implement solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

Education level: 

  • Sophomore or later in Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer & Information Systems, Business Administration

Specific skills:

  • Salesforce administration experience preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal skills are a critical success factor for this role

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Ability to consistently and clearly communicate verbally and in writing with a variety of audiences at their respective levels of technology understanding

  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a highly-collaborative team

  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills to enable consistent and timely delivery of work products
