The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join our Corporate Services Landscape Team in maintaining our World Headquarters and R&D grounds in Marysville, OH.

Starting pay $15-$25/hour depending on experience

Hours are Monday-Friday from 6:45AM-3:15PM

The season is anticipated to run from April 1- November 1. We are looking for a great candidate who could possibly grow into a full-time role.

**College students who are studying Turf/Landscape/Agriculture are encouraged to apply.

What you’ll do in this role:

 This is a seasonal position for an associate to support and assist the Landscape Services Crew and share the responsibilities of sustaining high quality maintenance standards and practices for the following areas: 

  • Corporate and R&D lawns, landscapes, plots and beds 

  • Interior plantscapes

  • Aquatic ponds and streams

  • Control product application

  • Equipment care, maintenance and safety 


Responsibilities include:

  • Corporate and R&D lawns, landscapes, plots and beds

  • Mowing, edging & trimming

  • Foliage/plant care, planting trees, shrubs, flowers & bulbs

  • Tree & shrub removal

  • Irrigation service, repair and scheduling

  • Interior plantscapes

  • Maintain indoor plants throughout multiple buildings on site

  • Prune, water and change out plants

  • Installation and maintenance of seasonal color displays

  • Aquatic ponds and streams

  • Maintain waterways for general cleanliness, drainage and irrigation usage

  • Control product application

  • Perform periodic applications of control products

  • Practice required safety protocols when handling, applying and storing control products

  • Perform required record keeping of applications

  • Equipment care, maintenance and safety

  • Perform daily maintenance checks and safety verifications on equipment in use

  • Practice company driven safety protocols in all areas 

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Previous experience working in landscape, irrigation, golf course, lawn care, agriculture, forestry or similar

  • Ability to safely operate commercial mowing equipment, including zero turn mowers, greens   mowers, tractors and similar equipment.

  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

  • Ability to operate vehicles with either manual or automatic transmissions.


  • Be enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school and working towards a Vocational or Degree in Turf/Landscape/Agriculture Technologies or similar

  • Possess a current ODA Pesticide Applicators License
