The Sr. Sales Analyst will be responsible for supporting the execution of sales/marketing activities for our Lowe's Business Development Team (BDT) in Mooresville, NC.

The Sr. Sales Analyst will be one of the main points of contact for ad-hoc and on-going analysis and tracking of key strategic initiatives. In addition, this role will also develop automated and sustainable analytic solutions that can be leveraged by the broader organization. To be a successful Sr. Sales Analyst you should be able to effectively acquire and analyze large data sets, leverage existing analytics solutions to drive sustainability, and provide timely and meaningful insights to drive sales growth.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Acquiring, analyzing and visualizing sales data

  • Collaborating with sales/supply chain/finance to identify sales opportunities

  • Creating sustainable and automated reporting tools

  • Leveraging vendor reporting systems to ensure data accuracy and capitalize on new data

  • Timely execution/maintenance of daily/weekly analysis and trends

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing, or equivalent quantitative experience

  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite of tools (MS Excel, MS Access, Google Sheets, Google Slides)

  • Ability to work independently and with cross functional teams

  • Experience in Tableau, SAP BW (and/or SQL), SAP R/3 preferred

  • Familiarity with statistical computing (R, Python) and methods (regression, time-series analysis, hypothesis testing) a plus

  • Nielson data/category management a plus
