We're looking for a Supply Chain Analyst, Customer Operations to join the the Scotts Miracle-Gro Supply Chain team in Marysville, OH!

Brief overview of the role:

The Supply Chain Analyst, Customer Operations works closely with our retail partners handling all aspects of billing, collections, cash application, reconciliation of receivables and order management.  This position is located in an office environment as part of a team. This position is located in our Marysville World Headquarters Campus, which features a cafeteria, fitness center, health center and other amenities for our employees.

In this role you will get to:

  • Perform accounts receivable activities including: cash application, troubleshooting of customer payment deductions, processing and monitoring accounting documents, and supporting related collection activities.  
  • Execute order management processes, from order creation through the lifecycle of an order.  Audit invoices, orders and customer computer systems for pricing, terms allowances and materials to ensure accurate processing throughout the program year.
  • Work together with our retail Business Development Team, Supply Chain Team, and Sales Team to resolve issues and to ensure that customer order processes are being executed in a responsive, timely and accurate way that also supports the overall goals of the company.
  • Support our retail partners while driving common processes across accounts and sharing learnings within the team.  
  • Participate in and execute special projects in areas such as metric reporting, product and customer questions, audit requests, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.  
  • This position will also assist with the B2B call in center and will work with brand, sales, supply chain, and finance to ensure timely and accurate processing of all related transactions.  

The perfect candidate will have:

  • B.S. in Business Administration is preferred. Will consider equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience with data entry or accounting/ accounts receivable.  Some customer service and/or call center experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in financial services, retail or accounts receivable role highly desired.
  • Account management or order management experience desired.

Some other nice to have’s:

  • Superior analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization as well as with customers.
  • Strong PC skills; ability to use Microsoft Office suite.
  • Desired ability to use SAP R/3 and BW.
  • Professional presence; ability to communicate effectively via phone & email.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary in peak periods, (this position is overtime eligible).
