You will work closely with a cross-functional team to identify the scope of projects, prepare project plan timelines, and participate in the project approval process.  These projects can be for any of the business units, Lawns, Controls, Gardens, DTC, and Private Label.  You will lead project team meetings and drive the timelines in order to make timing of the project.  You will need to identify  issues and bottlenecks and address them in a timely manner so the projects stay on time.  This role utilizes the PLM system for setups and activation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead project meetings with cross-functional teams

  • Monitors team members and functional areas for timely completion of required tasks

  • Elevates concerns related to project plans to their manager and/or SBU Director

  • Prioritizes projects based on critical milestones

  • Launches SKU workflows, monitors and follow up on workflow progress and works with Master Data to activate SKUs

  • Tracks and modifies PLM timelines to ensure accurate reporting

  • Participates in Ready for Season process

  • Determines if a project does not meet the timing and elevates the need for exception alignment

  • Keep manager or SBU director informed of all issues, bottlenecks, status updates, etc for every project.

  • Provides feedback to their manager on how the process can be improved

  • Works closely with peers to maintain all processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education level:  2-4 year college degree, required 
  • Experience:  4-5 years experience in product launches or project management
  • ​Specific skills:  Outstanding verbal and written communications, organized, can provide guidance in a professional manner, can lead a meeting, great with Microsoft Office, SAP.  Project management skills are a plus.
