The Business Integration Manager - Transportation is responsible for leadership in strategy, planning & execution of a transportation management solution enterprise wide. Overall responsibilities include blue printing through implementation, including training and sharing of best practices across transportation disciplines to support a world class operation.
What you’ll do in this role:
Business lead to drive the project planning across the blueprinting, development, user training, implementation, go-live phases.
Leverage TMS functionality in alignment with Supply Chain cost saving and cash flow goals.
Influence and lead change across senior leadership in a high visibility role
Increase level of data exchange to tie out operations and financial reporting.
Create standardization by business unit, where possible to leverage the tool.
Partner with IT to develop, lead and report the implementation of executional plans.
Drive day-to-day performance excellence; system performance, enhanced process automation, improved user outcomes and actionable outputs to the business.
Internal and external collaboration to drive game changing results in support of Supply Chain.
What you’ll need to be successful:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Logistics; MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of leadership in transportation roles (both field & corporate) with a consumer goods company, including demonstrated experience in delivering cost out initiatives and best practice freight management.
Strong team development skills, analytical capabilities, presentation and project management skills.
Requires experience and understanding of end to end Supply Chain including transportation, customer service, financial policies and procedures with a CPG company.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and initiative in developing and executing strategies, effectively communicating with all levels of Management.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to build relationships internally & externally.
Ability to accept project ownership and accountability
Able to work effectively cross-functionally within the organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to use written and verbal communication skills to communicate to multiple levels of leadership
Strong analytical and statistical skills
Proficient user of Tableau
Business Warehouse, Business Objects or other data warehouse reporting experience
Ability to be flexible and open to change
