Sous la responsabilité du directeur de site, le coordonnateur SST et contrôle qualité aura comme principale responsabilité de soutenir les activités relatives au contrôle de la qualité et à l’élaboration d’un programme de santé et sécurité.

À titre de coordonnateur SST et contrôle qualité, vous aurez entre autres à :

Responsabilités :

  • Participer à l’élaboration, à la révision et à la mise en place des procédures relatives au contrôle qualité et à la santé et sécurité;

  • Travailler en collaboration avec l’équipe de production et la supporter techniquement quant aux normes de qualité à respecter;

  • Former les opérateurs aux bonnes pratiques qualités;

  • Assurer la mise à jour des informations qualité au système;

  • Assurer les diverses inspections et remplir les différents rapports;

  • Supporter le programme environnemental du site;

  • Soutenir la mise en œuvre du programme SST;

  • Prioriser et coordonner les activités prévention;

  • Identifier et analyser les risques pour la santé et la sécurité;

  • Maintenir un environnement de travail sain et sécuritaire tout en respectant les normes, lois et pratiques en vigueur;

  • Toutes autres tâches connexes.

Profil du candidat idéal :

  • Formation collégiale en technique de laboratoire, horticulture, environnement ou domaine connexe;

  • 3 années d’expérience au contrôle de la qualité ou domaine connexe;

  • Expériences et connaissances relatives à la santé et sécurité au travail et des lois en la matière;

  • Bon sens de l’organisation et être en mesure de gérer plusieurs projets simultanément;

  • Bon sens de l’autonomie et être capable de travailler dans un environnement rapide et changeant;

  • Connaissances informatiques (suite Office);

  • Avoir de bonnes aptitudes de communication;

  • Sens des responsabilités et souci du détail.

We are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator who will grow at our Milot, QC faciility.

Under the responsibility of the Plant Manager, the Health and Safety Coordinator will be primarily responsible for maintaining the implementation of activities related to the plant's health and safety program.

In this role you will:

  • Participate in the development, revision and implementation of programs, work procedures and training relating to health and safety;

  • Support the implementation of the OSH program;

  • Participate in changing occupational health and safety culture and act as an agent of change;

  • Prioritize and coordinate prevention activities;

  • Support the Director of Environment, Health and Safety in her various projects;

  • Promote the prevention and the adoption of safe behaviours through communications and training or promotional activities;

  • Participate in OSH committees and other safety meetings;

  • Conduct investigations and analysis of incidents and follow-up of corrective actions (incident reports, surveys, etc.);

  • Conduct monthly inspections;

  • Coordinate activities related to the requirements and conformities schedule;

  • Train new employees as part of their integration program and give all other training;

  • Identify and analyze health and safety risks;

  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment while respecting the standards, laws and practices in place;

  • All other duties related to health and safety.

The perfect person will have:

  • College diploma in health and safety, OSH certificate or equivalent

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Operations ideally focused in Safety

  • Relevant experience and knowledge of health and safety, relevant laws and regulations

  • Good organizational skills and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Sense of autonomy, responsibility and ability to demonstrate initiative

  • Computer skills (Office suite)

  • Good communication skills

  • Good capacity to influenc;
