We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist at out Vancouver, WA facility

Position Overview: 
This position will primarily focus on technical support issues related to end-user devices and software along with supporting the VoIP phone systems. Our company is growing fast and is working on implementing new technologies within the Infrastructure environment that would be considered large enterprise solutions. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Provide first and second line response for users requiring assistance with information technology issues (Password resets, Microsoft Office issues, printer issues\mapping, network drive mappings, desktop\notebook, phone email sync issues, etc.)

• Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
• Support the automated deployment of patches and software with Admin Arsenal's PDQ Deploy and Altiris.
• Respond to requests for technical assistance by phone, email and/or using helpdesk management system
• Track issues to resolution and updating the internal knowledge base
• Familiar with and able to troubleshoot and manage business applications (MS Office, Desktop Firewalls, Bitlocker encryption, etc.)
• Create and manage Active Directory computer and user accounts for corporate systems; to include initial account setup and termination
• Maintain desktops and laptops; including both hardware and software
• Maintain peripheral devices such as multifunction printers, VoIP equipment, and mobile devices

• Maintain Gsuite based distribution groups



Requirements:
• High School Diploma with 1 year of hands on experience in supporting desktops.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and greater. 
• Knowledge in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Remote Connection Tools, and Microsoft Print Services
• Knowledge of networking basics for TCP/IP configuration and troubleshooting
• Certifications a plus: Network+, A+, MCP
 

Environment:

This position works in an office setting. Ability to sit for long periods in front of a computer is expected. Frequent to constant repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the work day are required. Occasional bending, squatting, twisting, turning and reaching. Rarely will lift, push or pull more than 20 lbs.
