We are looking for a Finance Manager who will join our Supply Chain or Operations Finance team in Marysville, Ohio.

The Finance Manager is responsible to assist various areas in Supply Chain and/or Operations in financial performance tracking and reporting.  The Manager will assist with the monthly close & forecast and annual budget. The Manager will have a key role in financial analysis supporting the Company’s top initiatives. 

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Responsible for monthly close process, including general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, variance analysis and reporting;

  • Lead the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process including communication of expectations, consolidation of data and reporting for review with director and SC VP and/or SVP;

  • Support SC VP/directors in strategic initiatives and various ad hoc financial analysis;

  • Create executive level summaries using large amounts of data;

  • Work with and/or coordinate cross functional teams;

  • Identify, create and implement opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement;  Articulate existing issues and formulate solutions;

  • Recognize and recommend process and procedure improvements;

  • Analyze data, identify key drivers, and communicate the findings to management in an accurate, concise manner;

  • Gathering relevant information systematically; considering a range of issues and factors; grasping complexities and relationships is critical to this position;

  • This individual will have to interact with a wide variety of people and functions, so a strong sense of customer service;

  • Manage at least one direct report and potentially shared resources.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA is a plus

  • Management of operational, distribution, transportation, and/or manufacturing finance experience 

  • Variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting;

  • Focus on Customer Needs – The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the company and their department;

  • High degree of original thinking and creativity;

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet established deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy;

  • Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from a significant amount of data;

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills;

  • Strong Excel skills.

  • Strong SAP / R3 and Business Warehouse skills are strongly desired.
