We are looking for an HR Business Partner who will join our HR Operations team and be located at our Santa Rosa, CA manufacturing facility.  The position will support the largest growing segment of our business including multiple manufacturing sites in the United States and must be bilingual in Spanish/English.

You must be an intellectually curious individual, with high emotional intelligence, a strong sense of urgency, and a passion for finding creative solutions to business problems while maintaining continuity with standard practices and processes.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Demonstrate leadership and guidance across manufacturing sites by coaching, counseling and problem solving with operations leaders, front line managers, and associates;

  • Serve as an advisor to the leadership team by providing insight, coaching and HR-related solutions to business leaders in the effective management and development of their people and their organizations;

  • Provides HR guidance and leadership on policy interpretation, performance management, and compliance with state and federal laws;

  • Effectively manage associate relations issues, including conducting workplace investigations;

  • Partner with HR specialty groups (Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits etc.) to ensure strategic and tactical HR programs are executed flawlessly to drive talent growth;

  • Provide talent related processes that build capability in our field leaders including recruiting, talent development, onboarding, performance management, culture, reward and recognition;

  • Support the hourly recruiting life-cycle by identifying, interviewing and onboarding the hourly workforce;

  • Drive a positive culture that creates an inspiring associate experience;

  • Champion the annual performance and compensation planning process to recognize and reward associates.

  • Acts as liaison between staffing agency, temp associate and management to coordinate work efforts.

  • Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English required.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; preferably business administration, human resources administration, communications and other relevant degrees are preferred.

  • PHR-CA or SPHR-CA Certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR administration and/or recruitment.

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations relative to labor and employment issues (FLMA, FLSA, ADA, etc.).

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Experience working with Workday is a plus.

  • Must possess excellent time management, prioritizing, and communication skills.

  • Service mentality coupled with the energy and desire to make a positive impact in the workplace.

  • Must include experience in a team-based environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • An absolute commitment to confidentiality, honesty and integrity is required in this role.

  • Thorough understanding of California human resources principles and practices, including but not limited to hiring practices, employment law, and EEO compliance.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
