We are looking for a Lead Operator to join our manufacturing facility in Orville, OH.

The Lead Operator is one of our leadership positions responsible for managing a shift.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Safely execute daily production goals given by shift supervisor.

  • Accurately record number of units produced each shift, including up time, down time, and any component scrap.

  • Train new associates for various production tasks on manufacturing line.

  • Setup and operation of packaging equipment.

  • Manipulates empty packaging into position onto the production line.

  • Ensures that the quality is free from defects and meet company standards.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  • Troubleshoots and repair moderate machine breakdowns.

  • Ensures machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output.

  • All other duties or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must occasionally lift approximately 50 lbs.

  • Must stand for extended periods of time.
