To troubleshoot and repair of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical failures; performs preventive maintenance and inspection on production machines and equipment according to a scheduled system while maintaining a clean, safe working environment. 

Typical work may include but is not limited to:

Performs preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on plant equipment including conveyors, bagging machines, facilities, palletizers, hooders, etc.
Trouble-shoots equipment problems and is responsible to maintain a spare parts inventory and maintenance records.
Plans, prepares and revises any equipment problems, new projects and safety issues to insure cost
effective methods and materials are used to complete the task in a timely manner.
Completes new equipment installation
Repairs broken machinery and equipment using the proper use of tools and insures all safety precautions are
implemented before starting the task.
Restore/maintain system operating PLC Programs.
All other duties as assigned


The perfect person will have:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Technical certification in maintenance, electrical maintenance, and/or electronics is preferred.
3-5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Equipment maintenance and repair procedures, advanced electrical practices, safe practices and procedures,
ability to read/interpret blueprints, schematics & flow diagrams, ability to fabricate, intermediate computer
skills, ability to read and write English and to follow instructions. Ability to work in a dusty environment, hot/cold/rainy weather.  Ability to lift 50 pounds, ability to climb ladders and work at high elevations.
