We are looking to recruit an experienced Corporate Strategy and Execution, Manager who will join our Strategy Team.

 The Corporate Strategy and Execution, Manager will deliver value to internal stakeholders through research, analysis, insights, and action that support the Company’s key initiatives. This Manager-level position will have a wide range of responsibilities from analyzing data to internal business development, to conducting field research in support of the Company’s top initiatives. This is a high-visibility role on our growing Strategy Team.

 In this role you will:

 Lead and/or support a wide range of projects in order to answer urgent questions from C-level executives.

  • Conduct research, distill key insights, develop plans to operationalize, and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Implement strategic recommendations alongside business unit leads in order to push forward strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze existing business processes, recommend improvements, and assist in implementing change as required.
  • Project manage cross-functional teams.
  • Work with senior executives and the business units to identify and define initiatives that support the corporate / business unit strategy.
  • Provide strategic input and contribute to the design and integration of potential corporate development opportunities.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Consulting, Strategy, Financial Analysis (MBA is a plus)  

 In this role you will:

  • Execute activities at the corporate level that help facilitate implementation of strategic business plans and support efforts to align and integrate SMG’s strategic priorities with business unit strategies.
  • Participate in activities that will contribute to value creation, such as product expansion or elimination, acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint-ventures and minority investments.  
  • Conduct research in support of strategic initiatives, distill key insights, and present insights to leadership.
  • Work with Executive Leadership and the business units to identify and define initiatives that support the corporate / business unit strategy.
  • Develop and integrate corporate strategic planning processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the business unit and other Strategy team members to analyze initiatives and determine recommended courses of action.
  • Partner with corporate communications and investor relations to build routines and processes that support board presentation planning.
  • Establish a strong network of relationships with critical internal stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic input and contribute to the design and integration of potential corporate development opportunities.
  • Analyze existing business processes, recommend improvements, and assist in implementing change as required.
  • Proactively communicate strategies and plans across the organization.
