 We are looking for an eCommerce Content Creative & Production Manager who will grow at our corporate office in Marysville, Ohio.  

We are looking for a strong leader skilled in creative and design production to be our new eCommerce Content Creative & Production Manager. The perfect person will be able to balance managing creative concept design, production design and project management.. You will be developing and implementing effective creative solutions that support marketing strategies, objectives and goals for all eCommerce product content, including: optimizing product copy, images, and enhanced content, brand stores, retailer promotions, etc. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for supporting digital asset management platforms.

This role will report to the Director, eCommerce Content & Marketing

To thrive in this role you must:

  • Be able to successfully lead eCommerce content creative and production projects to ensure content is produced on time, within budget, and to the highest levels of creative excellence consistent with brand standards;

  • Be able to effectively manage direct reports and external resources. Includes training, development, assigning priorities, trafficking projects and managing to deadlines and budgets;

  • Manage and oversee photography planning, on-site production activities, and post-production with in-house teams and external vendors;

  • Oversee content compliance - includes active management of content approvals and checkpoints across the enterprise with legal, marketing, regulatory, etc.;

  • Collaborate and lead content planning with key cross-functional partners (eComm Sales, Creative Managers, Marketing & BDTs) to effectively translate business objectives into effective, innovative eCommerce content. Be able to interpret how company-wide strategies impact eCommerce product content;

  • Be able to manage a large volume of product information with a high level of attention to detail and quality control. Also, maintain an on-going understanding of retailer content requirements for images, copy and video to support online product listings; 

  • Support internal digital asset management (DAM) platforms for content management including, but not limited to: Cumulus DAM, Product Database, PIM, etc.

  • Provide content readiness and team project resource reporting as needed;

Additional responsibilities assigned as special needs may arise and should be considered as important as brand/business responsibilities noted above.

The perfect person will have:

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design or design-related equivalent;

  • 5 - 7 years of demonstrated success managing creative design and production projects as well as leading, managing and mentoring direct reports;

  • Demonstrated familiarity with the creative process (design, photography, editorial, and the like), optimizing content, as well as managing creative projects from conception through implementation;

  • A strong portfolio showcasing design and copy management experience;

  • Experience managing image assets in a PIM or DAM and solid understanding of digital files, for example: image modes (RGB vs. CMYK), image resolutions, pixel ratios, 360 spins, file formats (JPG, PNG, TIF), etc. 

  • Must be results-focused: master level of project management, proven at prioritizing work, setting and meeting deadlines, managing resources and budgets, ownership in deliverables, quality control, persistence in accomplishing goals for self and others at highest standards;

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to manage complex systems and processes;

  • Demonstrated history of being a self-starter and working independently;

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with acute attention to detail and strong proofreading skills;

  • Ability to be comfortable working in a highly-matrixed environment and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and priorities at once;

  • Tech savviness with an ability to learn new software systems quickly;

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator & Bridge) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel is required;

  • A keen view of the rapidly changing eCommerce content marketing environment including trends, systems, competition and understanding of both consumer and customer behaviors;

Some other nice to have’s:

  • Experience in eRetailer/Omni retailers (Amazon, Lowe’s, Walmart, etc.) or other CPG company preferred but not required;

  • Experience with eCommerce content syndication platforms (ex. Amazon Vendor Central, Syndigo CXH, etc.);

  • Experience with data analytics platforms (Edge, Profitero, etc.).
