We are looking for a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) who will grow at our Mississauga, ON corporate office.

The FP&A Manager is responsible to support profitable growth of the organization by providing analysis and recommendations to all areas of the business unit.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the Financial Planning and Analysis team, focusing on the monthly close and forecasting processes as well as the annual budget preparation and strategic planning.
  • Oversee financial planning and reporting including full P&L exposure as well as some Balance Sheet account responsibility.
  • Identify areas that require focus, develop analysis and make recommendations to improve processes/financial results.
  • Lead the development of the business case for new opportunities from a financial perspective.
  • Understand brand and customer profitability and highlight areas in the business that require focus.
  • Oversee Trade program management which includes volume rebates, advertising allowances etc.

The perfect person will have:

  • CPA Designation
  • 8-10 years progressive experience in financial analysis ideally at the manager level
  • High degree of accuracy in financial statement preparation and month end processing
  • Proven coaching and people management experience
  • Experience with large ERP and Financial Reporting systems ideally SAP and BPC
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data, turning it in to meaningful analysis and presenting to senior leaders across the business
  • Superior time management – ability to manage self, time and priorities and ensure all team deadlines are met
  • Ability to independently identify areas in the business that require financial focus
