We are looking for a Manager, Infrastructure and Operations Services who will join our Information Technology team in Marysville, OH.

As part of the IT organization, the Manager - Infrastructure Services will partner with IT, Vendors and the Business to support server and storage provisioning, software installation and configuration, and cloud operations. Additionally, the Manager will lead his/her team in day-to-day operational support of the SMG computing environment and related platforms.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Manage all team resources including time allocation, business specification review, operational support, budgeting, resource planning, etc.

  • Guide and influence team members to accomplish the team’s technical, non-technical and schedule goals.

  • Coordinate  infrastructure services activity to address corporate computing needs. This would include identifying and acquiring resources to meet the needs of projects and applications.

  • Provide leadership and oversight in gathering requirements, design, and developing multiple minor and major system enhancements

  • Ensure the business systems are secure and reliable supporting continuous operations of the company

  • Creating and maintaining appropriate command and control functions for enterprise operations - Currently utilizing Control-M

  • Creating and maintaining appropriate monitoring tool sets.

  • Creation and maintenance of diagrams and documentation describing various aspects of the computing environment.

  • Develop project business cases and present to Senior Leadership to gain support approval

  • Ensure project budgets and forecasts are accurate and controlled

  • Lead production environment support by troubleshooting system issues and providing system solutions or process improvement options 

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information Systems

  • 4 plus year experience leading a technical team providing infrastructure services such as server management, storage management, disaster recovery or related services

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills

  • Significant experience with Cloud and SaaS providers such as AWS or GCP for secure infrastructure platform designs

  • 6 - 10  Years of hands-on experience with appropriate infrastructure platforms

  • Hands on linux systems administration experience highly desired

  • Strong technical knowledge with core infrastructure services across Systems, Network, and Security platforms

  • Working knowledge of tools used for vulnerability management and security compliance

  • Working knowledge of infrastructure health monitoring tools and processes

  • Integrating  servers and applications with other critical infrastructure components such as load balancers, reverse proxies, firewalls, IDS, SSO, and IAM

  • Knowledge of project management concepts and deliverables

  • Proficient in technical documentation
