We are looking for a Process Operator who will grow at our Chino, CA location. This position plans, coordinates and supervises work activities of five or more personnel engaged in production, equipment repair, warehouse and loading of trucks. Implements and monitors management programs as they relate to safety, employee relations, production efficiencies, inventory control and maintaining a union-free environment. Key Responsibilities Supervises a small sized workforce comprised of hourly employees, performing activities in production, equipment maintenance, warehouse and loading of trucks. Assigns work and monitors progress, trains employees, evaluates employee work performance, recommends and/or implements disciplinary action, and establishes employee work schedules. Plans, coordinates and supervises work activities and operations related to area(s) of responsibility; ensures quality and quantity standards are achieved in a cost-effective and efficient manner; ensures availability of materials and supplies; identifies problems and initiates or recommends corrective action. Communicates, implements and monitors safety programs and procedures, participates in and/or conducts safety meeting; ensures proper use and maintenance of equipment; identifies and implements safety improvements; enforces housekeeping standards. Establishes and maintains positive communication with employees; implements proactive measures to maintain a union-free environment. Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of equipment. Responsible for meeting quality, quantity and cost effective standards. Supervision of hourly employees including assigning and reviewing work, training, evaluation work performance, recommending hiring and disciplinary actions and establishing work schedules. Job Requirements Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, including prior supervisory experience. Knowledge: Manufacturing procedures, safe practices and procedures and equipment maintenance. Knowledge Skills and Abilities / Competencies: Communicate effectively, controls inventory movement, ensures housekeeping standards are maintained, supervises and directs work of others, adds, subtracts, multiply and divides numbers.
