We are looking for a Production Lead who will grow at our Operations Facility in Ft Madison, Iowa.

The Production Lead is responsible for assisting the production supervisor in directing resources to safely and efficiently perform job tasks associated with the packaging of liquid products and operating various packaging machines on production lines.


  • Ensure associates adhere to plant safety rules and programs. Lead by example through participation in safe behavior processes and programs.
  • Accurately track labor, record downtime, and production output by utilizing SAP and Access database systems.
  • Ensure that equipment procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures are followed as specified.
  • Participate and perform investigations and provide detailed documentation as it pertains to safety incidents, including root causes and corrective actions.
  • Ensure plant quality procedures and policies are executed and conduct audits as needed. Audit manufacturing inspection protocols to ensure completion and accuracy.
  • Communicate and relay information to peers and supervisors concerning production performance.
  • Continuously look for methods, procedural changes, or equipment modifications to improve line output and efficiencies.
  • Influence positive change and associate lead activities for safety, quality, and plant improvements through communication and leading by example.
  • Identifying constraints and inefficiencies in real time production, evaluating alternatives, and providing a direction and course of action maximizes efficiency and is cost effective without compromising safety or quality.
  • Communicate and collaborate with support areas within the plant to achieve plant targets for safety, performance, and quality.
  • Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to inspire and guide individuals and work teams toward goal achievement.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED required.  Associates and or Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Three years manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow and communicate directions provided in verbal or non-verbal format.
  • Ability to remain flexible and handle changes in short time frames, strong problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Must be willing and able to work shifts and overtime.
