We are looking for a Regional HR Business Partner who will grow at our Mississauga, ON Canadian head office. This position will also provide support to different sites across Canada.

In addition to assisting the Sr. HR Director, the HR Partner will coordinate and actively participate in staffing, compensation and benefits management, payroll processing, learning & development, succession planning and employee relations.

In this role you will:

  • Provide primary day to day HR support for Mississauga office, for consumer sales team and for different sites across Canada
  • Work with the US Shared Services team and Specialist to perform all HR administrative duties
  • Coach and counsel leadership on employee relations issues
  • Participate in the recruitment process and partner with the North American Talent Acquisition team to implement and execute effective and timely identification of qualified candidates
  • In conjunction with the talent management team, participate in the talent planning process to drive a culture of associate development, workforce planning, improved succession readiness and ongoing regular feedback
  • Propose improvement projects and assist in the implementation of changes working with the Global Human Resources team.
  • Organize some annual processes such as: performance review, employee engagement, salary review, training plans for salaried, vacations management, etc.

The perfect person will have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Human Resources Management
  • Strong communication skills in understanding business and employees need
  • Organizational skills with ability to multitask
  • Excellent autonomy, able to work under pressure in a moving environment
  • Experience in a multi-site environment is an asset
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, Google, SAP, Workday)

Some other nice to have’s:

  • Experience in unionized environment
  • Labor relations experience desired
