We are looking for a HR Specialist who will grow at our Corporate Office, Marysville, Ohio.  This position will support our Sales and Research and Development business functions.

The Work:

In this role, you get to work within our Shared Services group supporting our team of HR Generalists in driving business and talent growth. Our teams of Generalists have big ideas about how to solve complex business problems but don’t always have the time to do the research, find the solution and put it all together to get it across the finish line. That is where you come in. To help support the team you will: 

  • Partner closely with HR Generalists on projects to solve business problems 

  • Interact daily with our amazing associates to answer questions about our top notch benefits plans, payroll, or occasionally just chat with them about how their day is going 

  • Manage and drive our annual seasonal recruitment program for Sales

  • Work through and resolve Employee Relations issues

  • Great decision making requires a strong foundation of data, so you will be asked to complete administrative requirements connected with associate changes to make sure our systems are accurate and up to date 

  • You will interface with our HR Specialty groups to ensure we meet our internal and external compliance obligations to make sure we are always doing the right thing 

  • You will do exit interviews when people choose to move on to the next journey in their career and through your learnings will be able to make recommendations that help shape our culture 

  • You’ll be the “right hand” of our team of Generalists allowing you to grow and learn while contributing to the execution of our HR priorities 

Past Experiences Matter:

  • HR Experience (2-5 years)

  • Lead or been part of HR projects to support the overall enterprise  

  • Held titles such as (but not limited to): HR Coordinator, HR Specialist, HR Analyst, Human Resource Manager

  • Creative problem solver who is able to get things done at the highest of expectations, you are humble by nature

  • You strive to be a strong player on the team and would be equally happy getting assists or being the leading scorer

Who Your Team Is:

Our HR Shared Services team is made up of a diverse group of associates, positions and work.  This team is crucial to the succession planning of our HR department - we expect our HR Shared Services team members to develop their HR skill set for at least 2 years on this team before being moved out to another area within HR.  One of the awesome aspects of being part of the HR Shared Services team is that you will have exposure to and participate in a wide variety of HR projects, programs and tasks. With that said, if you need a rulebook and process map to do your job, it would probably be best to look somewhere else.
