We are looking for a Software Asset Management, Senior Analyst, who will join our Project Management Organization (PMO) team.

The Information Technology aka Business Transformation (BT) department is committed to supporting the company’s current and long term strategies. As part of the BT organization, Software Asset Management role will partner with BT, vendors and the business to manage the relationship between our strategic vendor partners as well as develop and lead our software asset management program.

Software Asset  Management

  • Collaborate with Procurement and Legal to provide input and review of software purchases.

  • Partners across the organization to define, document, refine and/or implement software license and subscription tracking methodologies.

  • Perform internal vendor software application reconciliations to ensure licensing compliance.

  • Lead the processes for inventory management to track software maintenance contracts and lifecycle status.

Strategic Vendor Management

  • Track and report on metrics to assess vendor performance and apply continuous improvements.

  • Works with the Manager in providing performance feedback to vendors.

  • Act as a liaison between vendors and the internal customer.

  • Evaluate the total cost of ownership and the entire vendor relationship cycle.

  • Identifies cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.

  • Provides support for the execution of vendor negotiations.

The perfect person will have:

  • Strong passion for detail and process discipline.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or Management Information Systems.

  • 3 - 5 years of software asset management experience.

  • 1 - 3 years of asset management experience using ServiceNow or comparable tool.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of leadership and with vendor representatives to influence decisions and drive progress.

  • Experience analyzing Total Cost of Ownership and project business cases.

  • Experience with and/or understanding of Configuration Management (CMDB).
