We are looking for an CRM Senior Analyst who will grow at our corporate office in Marysville, Ohio.

The CRM Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing the day to day engagement with the Scotts Miracle-Gro’s subscriber base.  They will do this through the email and push notification channels and will interface with digital marketing, brand teams, direct to consumer platforms and various agencies.

This role is the heartbeat of our direct engagement with consumers.  Through email and push this role has the responsibility to connect with consumers on relevant topics, drive meaningful value for the consumer, and build a loyal consumer base for Scotts Miracle-Gro.

The CRM Analyst will report to the CRM Manager and will work closely with the mobile team, the e-commerce team, the business intelligence team, and brand and marketing services teams.
In this role you will:

  • Leads consumer journey building, and works with various teams to design test and engagement plans;
  • Partners with the brand teams to ensure regional messaging has the right products and messaging;
  • Execute A/B and multivariate tests with the goal of optimizing all opportunities for conversion;
  • Will work closely with the media, social, website, and other teams/agencies in the optimization of conversion activities;
  • Manages the day to day build, quality checks, and send of all emails and push notifications;
  • Drive the copy and creative approval and alignment, along with test plans, for all emails and push notifications;
  • Builds and executes tests for SMS communication tools;
  • Drives our in-app survey and review tools;
  • Produces creative briefs and asset requirement lists for all direct communication;
  • Develops preference center strategy for all direct communication;
  • Develops offer strategy and works across the organization to test and optimize offers for all brands;
  • Partners with brand creative managers to understand the brand standards and tone for all communication;
  • Manages external contractors and production agencies as needed.

The perfect person will have:

  • Bachelors or Associates degree;
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing or direct marketing (B2C preferred);
  • Proven success collaborating with multiple stakeholders and teams on projects;
  • Past experience in digital roles with internal clients or in an agency;
  • Solid project management skills, including a strong attention to detail and the capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Experience with email platforms (ESPs), push notification companies, online advertising, programmatic advertising, and related ad tech a plus.

Some other nice to have’s:

  • Experience working with digital marketing agencies preferred;
  • Experience with e-commerce is preferred.
