The Business Transformation department is committed to supporting the company’s current and long term strategies. As part of the BT organization, the Network Asset Management Sr. Analyst will manage the procurement, tracking and production lifecycle of all network assets..

What you’ll do in this role:

Strategy & Planning

  • Collaborate with the Network Services team to determine standard platforms and maintenance for all network devices.

  • Aid in the development of network asset management strategies as applicable to the Scotts network for inventory control and license management.

  • Ensure accuracy of network inventory for all production devices.

Acquisition & Deployment

  • Support the procurement of assets and relative maintenance tracking for networking projects and new technology installations.

  • Conduct research on network products and standards in support of network procurement and support efforts.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of network support contracts and related network inventory.

Operational Management

  • Maintain all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and UPSs by shipping, receiving, and tracking.

  • Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory.

  • Prepare, maintain, and adhere to procedures for procurement, support and licensing of all network assets.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Business, Computer Science Information Systems or Management Information Systems degree or equivalent experience

  • 3 - 5 years of experience with Configuration Management

  • 3 - 5 years of IT Asset Management experience

  • ITIL v3 or 4 Foundation certification preferred; extensive knowledge of ITIL Service Management best practices required

  • Minimum of 3 years working in ServiceNow with practical use of the Asset and Configuration applications

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills

  • Working knowledge of tools used for asset management/inventory control

  • Knowledge of project management concepts and deliverables

  • Proficient in technical documentation
