As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering enterprise cloud technology solutions.

Our Salesforce Business Analysts wear many hats on their projects and are responsible for everything from requirements gathering, Salesforce configuration, testing, training, post deployment support and administration. As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will work alongside Solution Architects, Technical Architects and Developers to design, develop, and deploy large-scale enterprise solutions all while learning and growing your skill set.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Lead all or portions of the functional components of a Salesforce.com project; developing requirements and designing prototypes, testing & training strategies
  • Lead or support defining and implementing practical business solutions based on Salesforce.com technology
  • Creates quality software that meets the functional and non-functional project requirements in the implementation, enhancement and support of ecommerce platform centric projects. This includes producing application code on-time, on budget and in compliance with general industry & platform-specific best practices.
  • Knowledgeable in Salesforce B2C Commerce ecommerce platform, and be an expert in the platform API, management tools, and capabilities. The Senior Analyst will use this knowledge to plan, write, and test code to meet the requirements of tasks assigned, work with the templating technologies and languages, HTML, CSS, and Javascript to customize the platform's prototype solutions to build fully functioning ecommerce sites on desktop, tablet and mobile devices, use object oriented techniques to create reusable, easy to maintain code which conforms to platform-specific & industry best practices and performs well under load.
  • Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions for our business
  • Participate in key meetings with the business including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training
  • Perform routine administration functions for Salesforce.com
  • Participate and coordinate the delivery of work product with offshore teams across project phases

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • 4+ years experience leading Salesforce.com projects
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong experience with eCommerce and/or Order Management platforms
  • Expert in developing web applications from the back end to the front end on Salesforce B2C Commerce (formerly Salesforce Commerce Cloud/ Demandware)
  • Proficient in managing the administration of Salesforce B2C Commerce
  • Proficient in merging JavaScript including relevant libraries
  • Proficient in effectively documenting complex functionality in code and documentation.
  • Ability to follow, enforce, and help define development standards
  • Solid understanding of Object Oriented concepts, MVC paradigm
  • Strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking, critical thinking
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written (documentation, code, email, etc.)
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Applied knowledge of front end and B2C commerce back end performance best practices
  • Proven track records of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Ability to lead & supervise application development teams
  • Experienced with developing for B2C Commerce Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA)
  • Ability to lead effective scrum meetings
  • Ability to perform Release & Sprint planning
  • Good organization skills - scheduling, prioritizing, planning, tracking.
  • Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement technology-enabled business solutions in client-facing and team leadership roles (e.g. functional lead, work-stream lead, etc.)
  • Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets
  • Provide direct support to off-shore teams in the development of business solutions

Nice to Have

  • Expert level knowledge of cross-browser compatible HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Applied knowledge of semantic HTML and accessibility best practices
  • Proficient in using and managing version control through Git - including planning & creating branches, and performing merges
  • Experienced with task runners like Grunt or Gulp
  • Experienced with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries/frameworks
  • Applied knowledge of responsive, mobile first design
  • Certifications: Certified Salesforce Administrator and Certified Salesforce.com Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud Consultant
