We are looking for an Sr. Analyst, Strategic Procurement who will join our Scotts Miracle-Gro team.

This position supports Global Procurement processes and systems. The main focus of this position is the support and roll-out of Ariba Procure to Pay (P2P) and Strategic Sourcing applications.  This includes Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management, Guided Buying, and Buying & Invoicing.  The ideal candidate would have past experience implementing and/or supporting Ariba solutions.  The other responsibilities expected of this role are developing direct / indirect reporting dashboards, assisting in developing IT system roadmap, providing general SAP support, creating policies & SOPs, and supporting managers with Internal Audit tasks.


What you’ll do in this role:

  • Support users and suppliers in use of Ariba Procure to Pay (P2P) Solution

  • Identify and develop Ariba enhancements based on business needs

  • Lead Ariba system testing when implementing new enhancements, fixing system issues, and during monthly Ariba releases

  • Support buyers during creation of Ariba sourcing events and contract workspaces

  • Developing training materials and conducting end user training for SAP & Ariba applications

  • Develop and execute Ariba KPI and compliance reports

  • Lead cross functional meetings to track resolution of Ariba issues and progress on key system enhancements  

  • Develop spend reports/dashboards for indirect spend, direct material spend, DPO, and cost savings

  • Manage monthly/quarterly/annual audit processes

  • Support development of systems roadmap for Procurement, evaluation and documentation of current systems, leading new system implementations, and other system support as needed 

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • BS/BA degree in IT, Finance, Procurement, or other related field

  • Strongly prefer 2+ years’ experience using/supporting Ariba P2P, Sourcing, Contract, and/or SIPM

  • Previous experience using SAP ERP and/or SAP BW is a plus

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
