We’re looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Analyst at our Marysville, OH world headquarters!

The Sr. Manufacturing Analyst  is responsible for supporting the Naturals category and the commercial management of several suppliers (approx. $10M in spend) for the Contract Manufacturing team. This position will be also be responsible for performing key analytical functions for the contract manufacturing team including MPV and inventory analyses.  The opportunity will also drive execution of key projects, and will maintain critical business data in Scotts’ information systems.

What you will do on a day-to-day basis:

  • Analyze material price variance, research drivers, and develop future forecasts

  • Develop a wide variety of detailed supply chain analyses including, but not limited to: material cost analysis, conversion cost analysis, capital requirements, MPV analysis and root cause identification, and other ad hoc reporting.

  • Maintain Manufacturing Information Manuals for Contract Manufacturers. These manuals provide contract manufacturers with all the information that they need to produce products.

  • Maintain a robust metric system for measuring contract sites on cost, on time delivery, quality, service, etc.  Ensure best practices for contract manufacturing are documented and available to all team members.

  • Manage the contract sites cadence and adjustments for cycle counts, excess & obsolete and physical inventories

  • Manage cross functional projects.

The right person will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance or related field

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience within Supply Chain relationship management

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills

  • Ability to influence members of cross functional teams

  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint)

  • SAP experience preferred
