We are looking for a Sr. Benefits Analyst who will join our Total Rewards Team in Marysville, Ohio.

We are seeking a team member with strong operational experience to support the administration, delivery and communication of a variety of employee benefits, policies, and programs.

What You’ll Do In This Role:

Assist with the planning, implementation, and ongoing support of employee health and welfare benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, FSA, HSA, COBRA administration, etc., in an outsourced benefits administration environment.

Provide oversight of the outsourced health and welfare benefits administration vendor, including problem resolution, monitoring file interfaces for accuracy, weekly calls, and implementation and execution of system/process improvements.

Support administration of 401(k), defined benefit pension plan, and leave of absence programs.

Play a key role in annual benefits enrollment, including planning, system set-up and testing, employee communications, and conducting HR training.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of end-to-end flow of employee data within internal systems and external vendors; reviews vendor reports and conducts audits related to plan enrollments and operations to ensure administration integrity.

Handle customer service issues from employees and HR partners regarding benefits programs, and works to quickly resolve issues.

Analyze and evaluate data and program trends, and uses findings to makes recommendations for program changes and process improvements.

Review benefit vendor invoices and executes on funding of benefit premiums, claims, and plan contributions.

Actively engage, collaborate and partner with benefit vendors; hold vendors accountable for service issues.

Draft and review employee benefit communications, partnering with external vendors and consultants.

Maintain knowledge of government regulations and work with Benefits team and Legal resources to ensure program compliance.

Stay current on benefit program trends and benchmark data, and supports Benefits Manager and Director to develop recommendations relating to benefits strategy and design.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Business, Human Resources, Actuarial Science or related degree) or equivalent experience

Experience: Three or more years of experience administering benefit programs in a corporate setting, or working at a benefit consulting firm, brokerage or other benefits-related organization.

Strong analytical, data and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, in a face-paced environment.

Knowledge of Google Suite and MicroSoft Suite, including advanced proficiency in Excel.

Works independently and proactively.

Ability to develop strong working relationships, internal and external.

Problem solver who operates with a sense of ownership and accountability.

Effective written and oral communication skills.
