The Marysville chemical plant’s quality team is looking for a candidate to join their Analytical Testing Laboratory. This position will report directly to the Manager of Quality and will gather, analyze , and communicate results for production samples on their assigned shift in a safe and effective manner. 

Specific Tasks                                                                                        

Gather and prepare samples for chemical analysis 

Analyze samples via spectrophotometric, chromatographic, and wet chemistry techniques 

Record laboratory information in SAP for product release

Report results to operations 

Instrument maintenance and repair 

Housekeeping tasks
 

Minimum Requirements

A.  Education: Minimum AS degree in a physical science discipline (chemistry preferred)

B.  Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in an analytical lab environment

C.  Knowledge: Experience with MS Excel, basic laboratory principles

D.  Skills and Abilities: Excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-driven in a busy and detail-oriented environment

E. Must be able to lift fifty pounds
