We are looking for a Trades Program and Pricing, Analyst who will join our Hawthorne Gardening Company team in Marysville, Ohio.

This position will be based at The Scotts Miracle-Gro world headquarters in Marysville, a suburb of Columbus, OH.  Not familiar with Columbus? Visit

The Analyst is responsible for supporting and executing our Trade programs (rebates/promotions) for our business.  

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Work closely with Sales and Finance to build and execute new trade programs.

  • Evaluate the achievement of sales goals for customers and implement the payout of rebate programs.

  • Evaluate the progress of Customer Rebate programs

  • Responsible for maintaining existing SAP Rebate programs, Pricing Procedures, and data maintenance. 

  • Develop ad hoc analysis and data visualization in SAP BI and/or Tableau.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Education: BA/BS in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.

  • 0-3 years of experience using ERP databases and SAP experience preferred.

  • SAP Sales and Distribution Modules and Business Intelligence a plus.

  • Focus on attention to detail and has expertise with financial data sets.

  • Proactive approach to problem solving.  

  • Strong data processing skills.

  • Strong verbal, written, and collaborative communication skills.

  • Two or more years of PC processing, data entry and validation.
