Job Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the VP of Treasury leads development and execution of treasury strategies, policies and forecasting models and techniques.  Working with stakeholders to ensure the right cash management strategy is in place to support our business and mitigate risks for the company.   The VP of Treasury will lead and enhance all day-to-day treasury operations for the organization. THis function has responsibility for liquidity management, banking relationships, interest rate management, capital deployment, debt covenant compliance, accounts payable and implementation of new treasury policies. This role will partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute our strategic priorities while leading a team of financial professionals within the Treasury department.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop a global treasury strategy that is aligned with the overall strategy.

  • Ensure the treasury strategy is implemented with a focus on enterprise alignment and integration.

  • Lead strategic risk modeling and scenario planning for business-critical decisions to support business strategy and to identify and mitigate risk in line with the risk appetite. Advise on strategic modeling of risk scenarios to comply with the risk appetite.

  • Provide specialist advice to the leadership team to guide the implementation of policy and the design and implementation of projects and change initiatives.

  • Set, and lead the delivery of, business performance objectives for the treasury function; hold direct reports accountable for achievement of business plans.

  • Identify and manage stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.

  • Develop and improve relationships with Board members, identifying priorities, issues, and strategic challenges and preparing them for discussion.

  • Represent the organization in external relations with investors, analysts, shareholders, and the public.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Education level: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or related discipline.
  • Investment banking. 
  • Certified Cash Manager (CCM) aka Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred.
